5G Technology – Essentials

Digital wireless communication systems are consistently on a mission to fulfil the growing needs of human beings with an increasing number of devices to be connected, with higher data rates and more reliable connectivity.

Now, the telecom industry is introducing fifth-generation (5G) cellular networks, making it the leading wireless platform for humans, industries, and society. With the three different service categories such as Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), Ultra-reliable and Low-latency Communications (uRLLC), and Massive Machine Type Communications (mMTC), 5G will change the telecom industry.

The industrial sector is undergoing a massive transformation with the digitalization of its assets via Industry 4.0. To meet the demands of industries in terms of skilled 5G engineers, The German Academy of Digital Education (DADB) has developed a 5G course together with German academic and industrial experts.
